Google to Discontinue Sitelinks Search Box Feature in November 2024

Google has announced it will deprecate the Sitelinks Search Box, a feature enabling users to search directly within websites from Google search results. Effective November 21, 2024, this removal will impact SEO services relying on Sitelinks for enhanced visibility but won’t influence general search rankings or sitelinks. Although the Sitelinks Search Box will be phased out globally, other SEO strategies remain unaffected. Google recommends focusing on optimizing internal site search functionality for a seamless user experience moving forward.
