St. Jude’s Academy is a private JK through Grade 12 school in Mississauga. Founded in 2006, this relatively new school recently expanded to include high school grades. Head of the School Aaron Sawatsky met with MacRAE’S to discuss his marketing goals. He wanted to increase both the brand awareness of St. Jude’s and the enrolment of students to the school, especially in their new High School grades.


St. Jude’s received a full suite of digital products – a complete Inbound Marketing program. MacRAE’S launched St. Jude’s with an SEO program to start improving the website’s rank in search engines and driving traffic to the site. They launched a new blog to start driving the right type of traffic – parents researching the private school sector. MacRAE’S produced ebooks for the Awareness and Considerations stages of the buyer’s journey, to both educate these parents and nurture them until they were ready to sign up for a School Tour.


St. Jude’s Academy’s website has seen a huge increase in traffic including over 32K visits and over 216 forms filled out. They are showing up on page 1 for half of their targeted keywords, with the remaining on page 2. There has been an increase in over 480 spots on Google. This targeted traffic is converting to leads in their CRM and they have 21 new families attending their school as a result. MacRAE’S marketing efforts have resulted in a 3x ROI spend in just the first 10 months of their program.

We recognize that many private schools haven't embraced the concept of inbound marketing, so we saw an opportunity to differentiate ourselves while growing our student body to grow our school.
