Meta unveils generative AI tools for automated video, branding, and creative ads
Meta has introduced new generative AI tools for advertisers on Facebook and Instagram. The tool automatically transforms still images into multi-scene video ads complete with music, text, branding, and styling.
Tested since fall 2024 and showcased at Cannes Lions, the tools aim to streamline ad creation, cut costs for small businesses, and enhance reach. This launch aligns with Meta’s 2025 AI strategy, which includes consumer-facing text-to-video tools and AI-generated images and GIFs.
By 2026, Meta intends for its entire ad process creation, targeting, optimization - to be driven by AI, further democratizing high-quality video advertising.
