In Q3 2025, Google reported strong growth in its AI search features: AI Mode queries doubled to over 75 million daily active users, and AI Overviews generated even stronger growth. According to CEO Sundar Pichai, these AI features are contributing to incremental search volume rather than cannibalising it, indicating an “expansionary moment for Search.
