Google Merchant Center Introduces New Verification Options for Retailers
Google has expanded verification methods in Google Merchant Center, adding options for businesses to verify via a business email or an e-commerce platform. This change offers PPC companies greater flexibility and easier account management, helping streamline onboarding for retail advertisers. The update, spotted by Hana Kobzová, brings the total verification methods to six, including HTML tag, file, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics. Supported e-commerce platforms include Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce, and more. While Google’s help documents are not yet updated, PPC companies can leverage these options for efficient account verification.
