Anthropic’s @Claude Enters Workplace As A Slack Channel Coworker

Anthropic launched “Claude Tag,” letting teams tag @Claude directly inside Slack channels to assign ongoing tasks using memory, scheduled actions, and tool access. Anthropic says 65% of its own product team’s code is now written with this internal tool, and employees are also using it for tracking metrics, resolving support tickets, and debugging. Claude reportedly builds context the longer it stays in a channel, reducing the need to re-explain tasks. Currently in beta for Enterprise and Team customers, with administrators controlling tool access and spending limits.
